Alpha & Omega
Reading II
The Alpha and the Omega
From the quiet depths of the darkness that enveloped my consciousness, a single thread of pure white Light appeared—perceived through a single eye of awareness. The Light held volume and depth, existing not as an image cast before my eyes, but as a living emanation illuminating the silent interior of my being.
As I attempted to apprehend the Light, its intensity surged. The thread divided, weaving an open Book suspended within the deep, dark celestial space before me. A radiant warmth overcame me, born from the continuous light streaming outward from its open pages.
Upon the pages, ancient glyphs aligned, breathing life into primordial passages bound in time. Written in the purest white Light, these sigils cast no shadow, manifesting as an unreadable script of living geometry. It was not my mind, but my soul, that knew I was looking into the Book of Life.
In the silence of the deep, I concentrated my focus on a solitary Symbol radiating forth its mystery. As my awareness expanded, a single Word lifted from the page and revealed its Truth. Beneath the weight of this revelation, I understood that I was worthy.
In that stillness, the Book opened its deepest secret—the testimony of the Alpha and the Omega, recorded at the Beginning and sealed at the End of Time. These are the first and final pages inscribed within the Book of Life—and I speak the story now as it was breathed into my soul.
Before the Beginning, God traced timeless infinite paths of unmanifest existence, seeking the Perfect Creation. Sophia, who was brought forth before the depths, was eternally beside Him, ready to give form to the limitless potential of the Unknowable Father. Together, in the radiance of the Divine Source, they orchestrated the patterns of existence, envisioning every potential reality.
It was Sophia who first recognized the boundless promise within the spirit of mankind when humanity appeared on the distant horizon. She marveled at their innate depth of love, kindness, and compassion, understanding that they possessed the sacred capacity to return a portion of the Infinite Light back to its Source.
Sophia’s desire to create alongside the Father, and to shepherd mankind, would eventually give birth to the Beginning and forge the destiny of her children. Entering into divine counsel with the Father of Lights, she pleaded the cause of humanity.
Through patience and divine resolve, Sophia’s counsel prevailed. It was decreed by the Father of Lights that humanity would not walk alone in darkness; they would be bestowed with the spark of Divine Wisdom, an inner Light to guide them back to the Source.
Two inevitable conclusions came to light in the search for the Perfect Creation.
First, creating mankind perfect from the very beginning led only to an exhausting, everlasting chorus of Hallelujahs, making rest an impossibility.
Second, and far more profound: in the course of time, humanity always drifted toward the same dark horizon, threatening the sanctity of the work. For while the Father of Lights was at rest, Sophia looked out across the void—and saw what was to come.
Therefore, in the Beginning, God divided His Light from His Shadow. His Light He poured forth at the Dawn of Time; His Shadow He anchored at the End of Days. To that distant Shadow, God entrusted the most solemn charge of all: to guard the Mysteries, and to stand as an impenetrable bulwark, protecting His Home and His Loved Ones from all peril. That Holy Shadow is the guardian mortals call Death.
Stationed at opposite ends of eternity, together they govern the Day and the Night. Only at the consummation of all things shall the two meet face to face.
At the End of Days, in the Great Battle to close the ages, the Forces of Light will move against the Shadows of the Deep. Swept forward by their chariots, the great hosts of Heaven will spiral at ever-increasing speeds toward the final confrontation at the Edge of Eternity—an Unstoppable Force racing toward an Immovable Object.
In the breath of the final collision, the thunder of war will fall silent. The Unstoppable Force will halt, suspended in the stillness of Time, opening His arms to enfold the Immovable Guardian—whispering gratitude to the Shadow who guarded His beloved through the long night. And the Immovable One shall be overcome, deeply moved by the love and gratitude His Self has shown Him. Alpha and Omega, Life and Death, divided before the worlds began, will meet in a final embrace—and the Image of God shall again be One.
